DUDLEY — Shepherd Hill Regional High School junior and Dudley resident Jamal Mufti, 16, recently hosted a fundraising concert for the Relay for Life of the Greater Southbridge Area — and it was unlike any other collection drive he has done before.

Mufti said with the help of his family and friends he was able to bring in more than $300, which he will donate to the American Cancer Society through the Forget Me Nots Relay team.

The Relay will take place on Friday, June 15, and Saturday, June 16, at McMahon Field at Southbridge High School, at 5 p.m. All local residents are encouraged to attend and donate. All funds raised will go towards cancer research.
